Be2Camp at Working Buildings

Be2Camp at Working Buildings 2009 was an “unconference” – a facilitated, participant-driven conference centred around Web 2.0 and the built environment. Where you suggest the topics you want to here, volunteer to speak, nominate speakers, suggest alternative speakers or suggest a topic for discussion.

As such Be2Camp at Working Buildings provides an organic and changeable collection of seminar sessions. By encouraging volunteers to speak we are ensuing that you are hearing the most up-to-date content from those with true passion and ideas.


The Green500 Energy Efficient IT Conference

The primary focus of Green500 scheme is to work with organisations with the greatest carbon saving potential.

With increased attention on IT as the fastest growing sector of energy use, this best practice panel aims to discuss some of the key issues and challenges involved. This session would discuss the sustainable IT solutions available and how these can be best used to reduce carbon footprint. Amongst the issues to be discussed include; date centres, infrastructure, Government policy, innovation and savings from green IT.
